In many cafes, food items and drinks are packaged and carried separately, requiring both of the user's hands to manage and wasting resources with various bags and sleeves. These individual items can be cumbersome to carry while commuting and time-consuming to properly dispose.

Lotus simplifies the morning commute by consolidating cafe items into a single package that can be carried in one hand. The single-piece design encases a food item in the lower compartment and suspends the coffee cup above, eliminating the need for a bag or sleeve. The package is made of recyclable chipboard that is inexpensive and easily disposable, and the construction utilizes slotted tab, requires no adhesive, and is quick to put together.
